Terms, Shipping, Refunds, Returns and More

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER

Unfortunately, we can only ship to the Lower 48 U.S. States.

 

Items placed in your cart cannot be guaranteed until your purchase is finalized.

 

All tubers will be mailed out between late March and mid-April, weather dependent. If you would like them sooner, please inquire with us and, if it’s a mild week, we maybe able to ship them earlier.

 

All tubers have been hand-cut, selected, and packaged by us. We are just 2 people. We guarantee each to be viable. We make sure we can see an eye.  However, so much is out of our control. Your weather, pests, soil and human error, can all be reasons they do not thrive, so, we do not guarantee a tuber’s performance.

 

Once you have received your tubers, please inspect them. Take them out immediately and give them air.  Keep them dry and cool until you can plant them. Plant them as soon as possible… after 2 weeks we do not offer refunds. 

 

Variety issues: we do our best to mark our tubers as we cut them. If, by some chance you were to get the wrong variety, an in-store credit will be issued the next year. We must receive a supporting photo(s) as proof. Email hursthollowgrows@gmail.com by September 1, 2025.

 

We have our nursery license from the state of Kentucky. All our stock has been grown and stored by us, on our property, in Kentucky. We sterilize between plants, when cutting flowers; and also between clumps, when dividing tubers. We do our best to inspect each plant, and all tubers, and dispose of all dahlias that show any disease. However, we do not test as the costs are prohibitive.

 

We are not certified organic, but choose not to use synthetic pesticides.

 

Orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. Please be sure your address is correct. 

 

We may be able to combine orders. If you place a second order, please email us at the time of purchase and if possible, we will ship everything together and refund the difference.  

 

Tubers are packed in vermiculite or wood shavings. Upon arrival, be sure to open your tuber bag and store them in a cool place until planting time. Leave the baggies open so they do not rot, and do not allow them to freeze!

  

If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, you can return your tubers in the original packaging within 10 days of delivery for a full refund minus shipping.

 

We are a small,  new, family, flower farm. It is just my husband and I, so please be patient and kind!
